The Women & Children Ministry of Providence Baptist Church is dedicated to nurturing faith, strengthening families, and cultivating the next generation of Christ-centered believers.
We believe that women play a vital role in the spiritual health of the church, the family, and the community. Guided by Proverbs 31:26, “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue,” this ministry seeks to equip women to grow in spiritual maturity, godly character, and servant leadership. Through Bible studies, prayer gatherings, mentorship, fellowship events, and outreach initiatives, women are encouraged to deepen their relationship with Christ and to support one another in love and unity.
At the same time, we are deeply committed to the spiritual formation of children. As Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me… for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14). Our Children’s Ministry provides a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment where young hearts can learn God’s Word, develop strong biblical foundations, and experience the joy of worship and fellowship.
Through intentional teaching, age-appropriate discipleship, and nurturing care, we aim to:
Strengthen women in their walk with Christ
- Support mothers and families in spiritual leadership
Teach children biblical truth in engaging and meaningful ways
Create a foundation of faith that will guide future generations
Together, this ministry seeks to build strong women and strong children who will grow into faithful disciples — living testimonies of God’s grace and instruments of His kingdom in Liberia and beyond.
