Event: The Gospel HotMeal

At the heart of Providence Baptist Church is a simple but powerful conviction: the gospel must be both preached and practiced.

The Gospel Hot Meal Ministry is a Christ-centered outreach that serves the homeless and street communities every Friday. Through this ministry, we provide warm meals and the living Word of God, meeting both physical and spiritual needs with compassion and dignity.

Inspired by the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:35, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat…”, we believe that serving the vulnerable is not optional — it is essential to faithful discipleship. This ministry reflects our commitment to love our neighbors in practical, tangible ways while proclaiming the hope found in Jesus Christ.

Each Friday, volunteers:

1. Prepare and distribute hot meals

2. Share Scripture and words of encouragement

3. Pray with individuals and families

4. Offer hope, dignity, and human connection

The Gospel Hot Meal Ministry operates under the leadership of our Evangelism & Missions Ministry, ensuring that every act of service is rooted in the message of salvation. We do not simply provide food; we share the Bread of Life.

For us, this ministry is not just an outreach program; it is an expression of who we are as a church. It is compassion in action. It is faith at work. It is the gospel lived out.
