Celebrating 205 Years of Faith, Legacy & Impact

For 205 years, Providence Baptist Church has stood as a beacon of hope, faith, and transformation. From generation to generation, God has been faithful, guiding, sustaining, and empowering this church to serve the community and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.

This anniversary is more than a date on the calendar. It is a celebration of God’s enduring grace, a reflection on our rich history, and a bold step into the future He is preparing for us.

Pre-Anniversary Activities

Our celebration begins with moments designed to bless both our church family and the wider community:

Tuesday, February 24 – We warmly welcome our Sister Church from Madison Church, Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA.
Friday, February 27 (2:00 PM – 6:00 PM) – Community Health Fair: Serving our community with care, compassion, and practical support.
Saturday, February 28 (9:00 AM – 2:00 PM) – Worship Workshop: A time of equipping and inspiration for worship leaders and ministry teams.
Saturday, February 28 (2:30 PM – 4:30 PM) – Creative Connecting: A dynamic session of fellowship, creativity, and collaboration.
Saturday, March 1 – Arrival of our Sister Church from Shiloh Baptist Church, Trenton, New Jersey, USA.

Three evenings of spiritual renewal, powerful preaching, heartfelt worship, and fresh encounter with God. Revival is not just tradition — it is transformation.

More Anniversary Week Celebration

Family Day Celebration Sat, March 7 | Beginning at 9:00 AM

Family Day is a joyful expression of who we are as a church family. The day will include:

A celebratory parade from the church to PHP Park
Games and activities for all ages
Fellowship, food, and fun

This is a day to celebrate unity, legacy, and community together.

Closing Service Sunday, March 8 | Beginning at 9:30 AM

We conclude our 205th Anniversary in a grand celebration.

This final service will be a time of thanksgiving, reflection, and renewed commitment as we step boldly into the next season of ministry.
